CURRENT N-POWER Programs For graduate:
The N-power of the graduate program is divided into categories: graduate and non-graduate. The graduate category has the N-power volunteer corps only while the non-graduate level has both the N-power knowledge and N-power Build.
N-power Volunteer Corps
This program is basically for post-tertiary engagement for citizens between the ages of 18- 35. It involves volunteering and the duration is for 2 years. You will be deployed to public services organizations within your reach. It is affirmed that you will be paid as you volunteer.
You will be provided with computing devices that will provide accurate information about the activities that you engage in.
Npower is willing to train youths in these major sectors – Agro, Health, Teaching, and Tax.
N-power Agro
This N-power program recruits 100,000 youths that have been selected as qualified. Once you are accepted into this program, you’ll provide advisory services to farmers across the country. You will be responsible for spreading across the aggregated knowledge of the Government in extension services. You will also gather data on Nigeria’s agricultural assets.
A Bachelor’s degree, HND or OND in Nutrition, Agricultural Sciences, and other related disciplines is required. This program lasts for two years and you’ll go through an initial training before deployment. You will also be awarded a National Skills Acquisition( NSQ) certificate. You can be employed as an Extension Services Consultant, Seed fertilizer, or Farm manager.
N-power Health
This program enrolls 500,000 young graduates to be part of the N-power volunteer corps. The participants will assist in improving and promoting healthcare in their communities. They will also provide treatment for vulnerable individuals like pregnant women and children.
To get qualified for this program, you must have a degree in health sciences like Medicine. Degree in Botany, microbiology, and other related disciplines are considered. Other types of certification like OND, NABTEB, HND, B.Tech are also accepted.
If you are a graduate from either a School of Health and Technology, nursing schools, a midwifery school, a polytechnic, or a university, it’s accepted. It also lasts for two years.
You will undergo initial training before being deployed. You will also get a National Skills Qualification( NSQ) certification on completing the program. You can then be a Health Education Specialist, Health promotion coordinator, etc
The degree holder must be a graduate from either Economics, Law, Finance, or psychology. The participant who is a graduate between the ages of 18- 35 should have completed the NYSC program.
It is also advisable that you have a good knowledge of Microsoft office tools and the English language. It’s also of greater advantage if you have reasonable knowledge about tax laws and administration in Nigeria.
The duration of this program is 2 years. There are several jobs to apply for like a financial analyst, compliance manager, or accountant.
FOR NON-GRADUATES
The N-power non-graduate program is for those that do not have degree certificates but are skilled in some way. It’s specifically made up of N-power knowledge and N-power Build.
N-power Knowledge:
This is all about the Federal government’s idea to venture into a knowledge economy. This program has been structured to work alongside the planned eight innovation hubs across Nigeria. The provision needed to incubate and speed up technology will be from them.
This program is meant to train people for them to be fit in the marketplace where they can apply all they’ve learned. Trained personnel can eventually be freelancers or entrepreneurs.
N-power Creative
This is is the program where 5000 young people get trained in animations, graphic design, and scriptwriting. The importance of this training is to make Nigeria’s creative industry’s contribution cause a global change. This training lasts for three months. One month is for training while the other two months are for accomplishing hands-on -group projects across Nigeria.
The participants will then get local and international opportunities for internships. Some of them will get connections for jobs. Each participant will get a computing device which will make learning easier.
To qualify for this program, you have to be a graduate or non-graduate within 18 – 35 years. You need to have illustration skills in graphics arts, creative writing skills for scriptwriting. After completing this program, you can be a scriptwriter, illustrator, or sound editor amongst others.
N-power Tech Hardware:
The sole aim of this program is to empower 10,000 computing device technicians for competence in the ICT industry.
It is to train and provide tools for selected technicians to improve the device servicing and manufacturing industry. The effect of this training should be felt in both the local and international market.
Eligibility for N-power Tech
Hardware is that the participant must be a graduate or non-graduate within the age range of 18-35. You must also have problem-solving skills and the ability to undertake self-tutorship
N-power Tech Software:
The purpose of this program is to train 10,000 software developers in the ICT industry.
This N-power program trains, and also provides tools suitable for learning. Participants are then qualified for the local and international software development market.
Participants will undergo a project-based model training for them to know the foundational developmental software tools. All devices and platforms you need to excel in this will be given to you.
The training lasts for 11 weeks, you will also be linked to job opportunities. For you to be eligible, you have to be an unemployed graduate or non-graduate between ages 18 and 35.
You can choose to be an entrepreneur if you win €50,000 cash in the Unilever young Entrepreneurs awards.
N-power Build
This part of the Non-graduate N-power program focuses on engaging and training 75,000 young unemployed Nigerians. It involves certification.
It is to build them to be able to work effectively. This program focuses on Building Services, construction, Built Environment Services, Utilities, etc.
To be eligible for this program, you need to have an interest in fixing and creating things. The age range is from 18-35 years. At the end of the program, you are now open to several job opportunities like Building/ Construction Project Management and, furniture making, and design.

- Before filing the form that is presented before you, do well to read the instructions to prevent mistakes. The documents that you will need are a passport, CV, degree qualification certificate, etc.
- After you have filled out the form, click on the submit button. Immediately, you will be given your ‘Npower Registration Number’. You can only log in for the aptitude test with this number you have been given.
