The 9mobile Executive Director of Regulatory and Corporate Affairs, Abdulrahman Ado, said this during a courtesy visit to the NYSC Director-General, Brig Gen Shuaibu Ibrahim, in Abuja.
According to a release by the NYSC Director of Press and Public Relations, Mrs Adenike Adeyemi, the 9mobile director also presented a proposal on employment generation for corps members, which involves E-Learning Digital Skills Centre at the 37 NYSC Orientation Camps.
Adeyemi said, “One of the telecom companies in Nigeria, 9mobile, is to provide toll-free emergency lines for the NYSC as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility. The company’s director, Ado, said the emergency lines would enable corps members reach dedicated help lines of the NYSC and security agencies when in distressed situation.
“He also presented a proposal for partnership on employment generation for corps members, which involves the implementation of E-Learning Digital Skills Centre. The centres will train the corps members on digital skills and entrepreneurship. The centres will also provide opportunities to become business specialists.
It will not only end there, they will also provide skill
