This is to inform all National Youth Service Corps Members of 2017/2018 Batch A Stream I and II that the Passing Out Parade [POP] date has been announced.
I wish to inform you that management has approved that the 2017 Batch “A” winding-up/passing out should be low key. Please note that Corps members of 2017 Batch ‘A” Stream I will pass out on Thursday 12th April 2018. Accordingly, below is the programme of activities.
i. Thursday 22nd- Thursday 29th March 2018
(a). Job creation and awareness week, sensitization of Corps members on Job creation opportunity after service. This will be done at the local government level using relevant officers.
ii. Friday 30th March, 2018- Tuesday 3rd April 2018
(a). Release of Passing out Corps Members by employers
(b). Registration/Clearance of corps Members, information on condition for issuance of certificate of national service
iii. Wednesday 4th- Thursday 5th April 2018
(a). Signing of final clearance by Zonal inspectors
(b). Debriefing/Evaluation of service year
(c). Administration of Questionnaire (From 4B) on passing out Corps members
(d). State farewell party to be presided over by the Governor of the state.
iv. Friday 6th April 2018
(a). Distribution of certificate of national service to deserving Corps at Local government level.
